TSN Extends FRENCH OPEN Rights with Multi-Year Deal

– TSN has been home to FRENCH OPEN for more than a quarter-century –

Toronto, ON (May 27, 2011) – With the biggest tennis stars competing at Roland Garros over the next week, TSN announced today it has reached a six-year multimedia rights extension with the French Tennis Federation for the prestigious FRENCH OPEN.

As part of the deal, TSN and TSN2 will continue to be the exclusive Canadian home of the Grand Slam event with more than 100 hours of FRENCH OPEN coverage each year featuring men’s and women’s singles Early Rounds, Round of 16, quarter-finals, semifinals and Finals. Coverage will be broadcast in High Definition and be available on various TSN platforms, including TSN MOBILE TV.

The deal includes French language rights for RDS.
