Today’s Lede Stories
It was exactly 20 years ago today, on May 6, 2004, that FRIENDS, one of the most popular sitcoms of all time, aired its final episode, appropriately titled “The Last One.” Through 10 hilarious seasons, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, and Matthew Perry became linked forever. Perry – who tragically passed away last October at the age of 54 – spoke the final word of the series: it was a joke by his character Chandler Bing about the six core characters going out for a cup of coffee. “Where?” he said. For all the funny and heartwarming memories, every episode of FRIENDS is available for streaming on Crave.
Imposter syndrome refers to people who may be performing at a high level in external ways, but are plagued by self-doubt and lack confidence internally. Well, Kelly Ripa is not one of those people. As she explained on a recent podcast, “I have what Mark (Consuelos, her husband and co-host on LIVE WITH KELLY AND MARK) likes to call ‘a–hole syndrome.’ I don’t have imposter syndrome. I have the opposite of that. So I think that I can do everything.” She admitted it goes as far as viewing major sporting events, and becoming totally convinced that she could do what the world’s top athletes are doing. For now, Ripa is sticking to what she does best on LIVE WITH KELLY AND MARK, airing weekdays at 9 a.m. ET on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app. One of the guests this morning is beloved veteran actor Tom Selleck from CTV’s BLUE BLOODS.
