THE LAST OF US Has Plenty to Rap About Few seasons in the history of television have been as highly anticipated as Season 2 of HBO’s THE LAST OF US, and it’s finally here, premiering Sunday on Crave. “Gripping,” “beautiful,” “explosive,” and “snowy” are just some of the words that the cast – including Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, and Kaitlyn Dever – and creators used to describe the second season in a story by TV critic Bill Harris for The Lede, which is also where new images are available. Confidence in the smash-hit series is so high that it has already been renewed for a third season. For anyone who needs to catch up, Season 1 is on Crave, or alternatively, Ramsey hilariously rapped a recap this week on CTV2’s THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON.

Val Kilmer and Will Forte Racing Together? That Would Have Been Amazing Following the death of actor Val Kilmer last week, his good friend Will Forte wrote a heartwarming essay that revealed Kilmer’s connection to the “biggest regret” of Forte’s professional career. Forte and Kilmer temporarily were housemates for three months about 15 years ago, during which time Forte was a huge fan of THE AMAZING RACE, and he eventually got Kilmer into the show as well. As Forte recalled, “at a certain point, (Kilmer) said, ‘Will, you and I have to go do THE AMAZING RACE.’ We got really excited about it, and then we called our respective agents and managers, and they were like, ‘there’s no way you guys are doing that.’ ” Alas, while Forte and Kilmer never joined the fun, THE AMAZING RACE is still going strong, with Season 37 airing Wednesdays on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app.
