Today’s Lede Stories
Weekend editionToday is the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia & Biphobia (IDAHOBIT), which has been observed annually since 2005 to draw attention to the violence and discrimination experienced by members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community (Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and additional people who identify as part of sexual and gender diverse communities). In the spirit of opening minds and promoting respect, the groundbreaking HBO series WE’RE HERE – which takes an in-depth, immersive look at recent anti-LBTQ+ legislation, and the effect if has on communities – drops a new episode today, only on Crave, as Season 4 continues (all previous seasons are on Crave as well).
Every time Cal and Maggie think that the path has been cleared for a potential romance between them on SULLIVAN’S CROSSING, another roadblock appears. Chad Michael Murray, who plays Cal, and Morgan Kohan, who plays Maggie, talked about the start-and-stop aspect of their characters’ relationship, how the most frustrating moments can also be the most entertaining ones for fans, and also pinpointed some specific scenes when they’ve really impressed each other, in an interview with TV critic Bill Harris for The Lede. A new episode of SULLIVAN’S CROSSING airs Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app, and new episodic photos are available for download on The Lede.
